What's included

A compliant address, and your privacy back

Central London registered office

A physical UK street address in London EC1 that appears on the Companies House register and your official documents. A genuine street address, not a PO Box, meeting the appropriate address standard under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

Privacy for your home address

Your residential address will not appear on the public register. Using our address as your registered office replaces your home address on the public record.

Free digital mail handling

Statutory mail addressed to your company is opened, scanned and emailed to you free of charge — Companies House, HMRC, the ICO, other government bodies and court documents. Processed within one working day.

Statutory mail only

This service covers official government correspondence. It does not cover general business mail from clients, suppliers, banks or couriers — contact us if you need that handled.

Support for the life of the service

Phone, email and live chat support Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, covering address usage, Companies House requirements and managing the service.

Who it's for

Typically bought by

Home-based business owners

Run a company from home and your residential address becomes the default registered office, published on the public register. This replaces it with a London address.

Non-UK residents

A UK registered office is required to incorporate in England and Wales. Our EC1 address satisfies it, and is widely used by overseas founders.

Startups without premises

Most founders incorporate before they have permanent premises. This gives the company a stable, compliant address from day one.

Companies changing address

If your registered office is a home address, a former accountant’s address or old premises, switch at any time using form AD01.

Limited liability partnerships

LLPs have the same registered office requirements as limited companies. The service covers both.

The rules

What Companies House requires

Same UK jurisdiction

The address must be in the jurisdiction where the company was incorporated. A company registered in England and Wales must keep its registered office in England or Wales.

A physical address

A PO Box alone is not acceptable. It must be a physical street address where documents are delivered and acknowledged.

An appropriate address

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 the address must meet the appropriate address standard. Our service satisfies it.

Displayed on all stationery

The registered office must appear on letters, invoices, order forms and your website. Failing to display it correctly is a criminal offence.

Changes must be reported

Any change must be filed with Companies House on form AD01, and takes effect once registered.

FAQ

Common questions

What is a registered office address?

The official legal address of a UK limited company or LLP. Companies House lists it on the public register and uses it for all statutory correspondence. Every UK company must have one at all times.

Can I use my home address instead?

Yes, but it will then appear on the public register, visible to anyone. Many directors prefer a professional service to keep their home address private.

Is this a real street address or a PO Box?

A genuine physical street address in London EC1, not a PO Box. It meets the appropriate address standard under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

What mail will you forward?

All statutory government mail — Companies House, HMRC, the ICO, courts and other government bodies — scanned and emailed within one working day. General business mail from clients or suppliers is not covered.

Do I need this and a director service address?

They do different jobs. The registered office is the company’s address and removes your home address from the company record. The service address removes your home address from your personal officer record. For full privacy you need both.

Can I use it if I am not based in the UK?

Yes. It is particularly popular with non-UK residents who need a compliant UK registered office in order to incorporate in England and Wales.
